The Coolaroo Cooling Vest works using natural evaporative cooling. You just wet it, wring it out, and pop it on. As the water evaporates, it gently pulls heat away from your dog’s body, keeping them up to 10°C cooler for hours.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

What to Measure

• Neck circumference, measure around the spot where your dog’s collar naturally sits.
• Chest (girth) circumference, measure the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs.
• Optional: Back length, helpful for dogs with longer or shorter bodies to ensure a good overall fit.

For the best cooling, choose a size that hugs your dog’s chest and girth snugly. If your dog is long-haired, double-coated, or still growing, size up for extra room.

Use mild soap and cool water. No harsh chemicals or bleach.

What is your return policy?

HowlTrek Return Policy

We want you and your adventure buddy to love your new HowlTrek gear. If you’re not 100% happy, you can return your order for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

To qualify, items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, and returned with their original packaging.

Things to Know

Please try your new gear on indoors first, keeping all packaging intact. A proper fit ensures your dog gets the best performance out of their gear.

Returned products must be clean and unused to be eligible for a refund or store credit.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method, minus any delivery fees (unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product).

If your item is faulty or incorrect, reach out to us, we’ll cover the return shipping.

How do I start a return?

Contact us first with your reason for returning the item.

We’ll reply ASAP with your return options and instructions.

Send the item back to us. (Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.)

Want to Make an Exchange?

We don’t offer direct exchanges. It is easier for all to simply return your item for a refund and place a new order for the correct size you need.

When will I get my refund?

Once your return reaches us, we aim to inspect and process it within 3–5 business days.
After that, your bank or payment provider may take up to 5 additional business days to finalise the credit.

We’ll send you an email as soon as your refund has been processed.

Please note: Delivery costs from your original order aren’t refunded unless the product was faulty or incorrect.
