Use a soft tape and measure:
Neck: Where the collar naturally sits.

Chest: Around the widest part of the ribcage, just behind the front legs.

Length: From the collar line down the spine to the tip of the tail.

Find the corresponding size from chart below.

Every dog is built a little differently, from lean trail runners to couch adventurers. Note: The vest does not necessarily need to reach all the way to the tail. If in between sizes, size up for comfort and better cooling coverage.

How long does the cooling last?

The cooling effect lasts for several hours, depending on the heat, humidity, and how active your dog is. When it starts to dry out, just re-soak, to recharge. No need to remove vest, just pour water over the vest for an instant refresh.

Is this vest good for pugs and other flat-faced breeds??

Yes, and it matters more than you'd think. Flat-faced breeds like pugs, bulldogs, and boxers can't cool themselves through panting as effectively as other dogs. Their shorter airways mean summer heat hits them faster and harder.
